Early check-in, lovely food.
Excellent accommodation with magnificent setting really close to a quiet area, River Cottage and the attached cafe. Plenty of absolutely excellent and good breakfast options. Warm experience there.

The facilities were good and easy to use. Location: the hotel was close enough to the adjoining cafe, and Lyme Regis. Apart from that, mediaeval manor house remnants was 10 minutes away by driving.

It was just a balanced option for a quick weekend visit in Axminster with attractive and competitive value for money. The room looked clean and nice despite the issues we had with finding it. Make sure to get the key from Greggs before arriving.

The bed wasvery comfy and tidy. I traveled over two hours to stay overnight and was relieved to find that much.
It was difficult to find the hotel. There were no clear signs to the accommodation, and it took a lot of time to figure out how to check in.

Simple and Convenient Stay
This place is a solid choice if you need a spot near Seaton. Super close to a bus stop and not far from the train station. Room was basic but comfy, and I appreciate the parking right outside. We grabbed some grub nearby. The jacket potato was really good! Just wished the room had a bit more charm.

This place was a good match for a weekend break in Axminster with a solid price-value balance. It was a hassle to find the check-in, but they directed me to get the key from a nearby restaurant, a funny experience after a long trip. Just make sure to ask for help if you're lost on arrival.
